As I sat watching television with my
5-year-old
granddaughter I relearned a lesson I had long forgot,
please let me explain.

The
program was Aladdin, an adventure straight from the Arabian Nights tale
with Genies Magic Carpets, etc. She turned to me and said Grandpa; “our”
motorcycles just like Aladdin’s magic carpet.
When I asked her why it was like
a magic carpet, she told me “because you can set on top of it where you
can see everything and it takes us where ever we want to go.” I laughed
and I had to agree with her in the car or van she sits in the back seat
with her eyes below window level and can see very little of what we drive
through. “Our” motorcycle is much more than just a magic
carpet, it is
a time machine, that can make time stand still. A ride is over long
before you are ready, it is a way to relax and clear your head. But most
of all it is a Freedom Machine to take you anywhere you want to go. So
next time the world gets to you and everything is closing in, try looking
at it through the eyes of a child.
The Magic is still there if you know
where and how to look!!
